We have news
So, if you have not noticed we have new pictures. Not only do we have new pictures we have a new baby. He joined us a bit earlier than expected. He was 5lbs 15oz and 18.5 inches long. He spent his first few days in the NICU until his breathing got stronger. He came home with us and has been a welcome addition to our chaos since then. I hope to continue posting picture and updates.

24 mo stats
Howdy! We had our 24 mo check up and our Little Man is not so little!
28 lbs 9 oz and 36 3/4 inches
He is happy and healthy. Doctor says he was one of the very very few 2 year olds who allow him to pick him up and does not cry when the doctor enters the room. I explained that was because he is so MELLOW. He does not care - he just watches everything. Takes it all in.
He loves music and dancing and musical instruments. At music class we got to play a violin and now his guitar doubles as a violin. It is quite cute to see him try to put the guitar (that is as big as him) under his chin and play. He makes microphones out of everything and sings into them.
He is talking up a storm. We don’t always fully understand but he is very patient with his dim witted parents and repeats it until we finally catch on. I can’t tell you how often I respond with, “Go show mommy.”
He has his own personality and wants to do it himself. He is willing to let us help him but heavn forbid we take it from him! I wonder where he gets that from ![]()

Wow
Our baby turned 2!! He is not so much a baby anymore.
We had a mini party at his class today, cupcakes and juice. It was neat to see him with his other classmates. He is a loverboy. All the girls love him and he loves them. He is the teacher’s helper. Getting napkins and helping clean up spills.
So cute! We love you Mr. Man!

Not quite Reborn…
Well, I am having trouble linking the photos to the new laptop…so as you can see no new pictures. I have uploaded two of my favorites from my sister’s wedding.
In general news we are hanging in there. The monster is growing like a weed. He has figured out tantrums so those are fun to watch. He talks up a storm but only at home and school so strangers think he is mute. Nice, huh?
”You have to see my boy he talks up a storm. Say hi!”
Boy gives death stare and quirks eyebrows
“I promise he talks, say hi. Is that a TRUCK?”
Boy gives bored stare and quirks eyebrows.
The pattern continues……
Gotta love him!!

A lap top and we are reborn
My BIL generously donated a laptop to the Miller household so we can finally start updating the page.
We are doing well. Brian is working on a lot of projects as usual. I am getting into the busy time at work and Ben is learning and growing and being a general toddler.
He talks up a storm, do we always understand what he says….no…but he says it with conviction. Our list of words increases daily. Our newest additions are “Sh!Quiet!” and “Milk”. His favorite words are “Cookie”, “Outside” and “Open”.
I hope to update pictures soon

We had our check up today and our lil man is healthy and perfect! Doc was shocked how mellow he was (he certainly gets that from Dad).
He is so tall!! 34 inches tall and 27 lbs. Almost 3 feet! I am only 5 feet, how can he be 3 feet tall
I am going to blink and he is going to put his elbow on my head!!
I forgot to mention, our laptop has officially died…which is where I do all of my pix uploads. I will try to upload them from the monster computer but it changes the color so I make no promises. I know I am lagging, I apologize!

18 months
Can you believe it has been 18 months! I sure can’t. We go for his check up next week so I can let you know how big he is. But for right now I can let you in on the great stuff he is doing…
He says a handful of words (dada, mama, baba, nana, up, uh oh, no,…)
He will shake his head yes or no.
He has a handful of signs (milk, cheese, more, all done, please, thank you,..)
He is walking, running and climbing - pretty much getting into everything
He LOVES his step stool which allows him to see counters that were previously hidden
He wants to do whatever we do, so if I am cooking he wants his own tools, if I am washing dishes he wants to be included.
Chase is his new favorite game. The less clothing he wears during this game the better (nothing is better than a grinning naked screeching baby running towards you)
He is just a mellow happy child. We are in music class at school and he loves it. The teachers remark how much fun he has banging the drums. Maybe a future drummer?

Video
We have changed tactics. Why not use the internet products out and available instead of begging my overworked and underpaid husband to code them onto our page in a format that people have trouble with!
So, we have posted videos on YouTube and linked them to our Video page. They are just the first few…I hope to get more uploaded. Please check them out. If you have trouble let me know, I will beg again ![]()

Updates
We are all hanging in there. I have been hit with a nasty upper respiratory bug that just won’t go away. I am finally on antibiotics so let’s keep our fingers crossed that this will be over. My core can only take so much. Who knew how many muscles you used to cough!!!
Luckily, Mr. Man has avoided this. I dont think I could handle hacking up my lung and taking care of his lungs at the same time!

Our boy is growing up! Drum Roll please….
32 inches and 25 lbs 12 oz
He is a big boy! He is right on target for everything.
He has decided that he wants to walk. He now actively lets go of our hands to walk on his own. He will also get back up if he falls down. Oh lord we are in trouble!
He has a few words in his repertoire (baba, dada, uh oh, no, dat, dis) but he certainly makes his wants known with his imperious finger pointing.
He is our perfect little boy!
